Is there a difference between a debit card and a check card?
Answered By Chuck Ivens, Editor
No, there isn't a difference between a debit
card and a check card. A check card is also
known as an offline debit card. It is a card
with an enhanced automated teller machine
(ATM) and 'point of sale' features that is
used for purchasing goods or services. Under
this transaction, the amount is deducted to
the card-holder's checking/savings account.
