How to find out if a business bounces checks
Can you answer PlanetMoffett's question about Checks?:
I'd like to be able to find out if a business has written NSF checks. I'm concerned that the account they have now is new and it doesn't show any negative banking activity from the past. Is there any way I can find out banking info on a business?
I don't have a check from them so I can't call their bank. I want to be able to find out who they bank with. I don't think they are giving me all their banking information

If you have a check from them now, you could go to their bank to cash it. You could talk with the bank manager about the company and their account and you might gain a bit of information this way.
The bank will probably tell you how you can gain the information you are seeking.
you can call the bank that the check is written on and ask to verify funds for a specific check amount. They will tell you if the check will pass or not. If this is a problem I would call them froma cell phone right outside their door and then run in and cash it ASAP.
