So Im in the business of selling background checks, any marketing ideas?
Can you answer JEssica B's question about Checks?:
My problems include cold calling, getting the client to start processing checks after we have already had the meeting and new ideas for marketing and advertising. Any ideas?

Who will want your service?
Three I can think of are:
Employers
Women with a new boyfriend
Banks
You need to advertise where these people are looking.
monster.com or business magazines that employers use.
Or do your cold calling to companies are always hiring.
Especially companies that have govt contracts and hire people that have clean criminal record.
As for women, see how much an ad on match.com would cost.
The best way to advertise your services is to go online.
Build a website, optimize it and collect visitors emails via an optin list. Should take about 3 months to get it up and running
I have no idea how your business works, but if you want to build a list for future use, check this link at eBay.
I know this is a very inexpensive offer, but this could be a great way to build a customer list and start relationships.
Who knows who your buyers may know that need your service.
I hope this helps even if only a little.
